I have lived in and around Philadelphia for most of my life and have always found it to be a visually interesting city for both its beauty and its grit. I have also traveled the world for more than four decades, visiting over 60 countries so far. Whether I’ve been exploring Philadelphia’s streets and neighborhoods or Tibet’s mountains and monasteries I almost always have a camera with me. Looking at the world through a camera viewfinder forces me to focus on what I’m seeing, hearing, smelling and experiencing in order to create a vivid memory in pictures.
